The Book Launchin Event.

The book title is “The Gallery Book (17 years at school), what’s happening behind the school gate. This is an inspirational book for youth mostly related to the journey to innovation, the bookvexplains the success story of Musa Gese Doto from Jan 2003 to December 2020. The event with full of
expectations that will attract many youths to utilize the available resources to solve the community’s problems through creativity and innovation.

Objectives

The Book project launching will take place on Saturday, 13th March 2021 from 10:00 am to 0230 pm. The event aims to create awareness and inspiration for the youths to be creative and innovative that will lead them to self-dependent and competitive in production so as offset the unemployment gap in the economy.

Specific objectives of the book launching Event:

• Enhance awareness of the role of innovation and creativity through
entrepreneurship as a strategy for unemployment reduction, social wellbeing, and sustainable economic growth.

• Enhance awareness of female participation in various innovations to bring about social equity and increase efficiency and productivity.

• Fundraising for running other innovative projects such as “Farm cart” and Drone for small scale farmers to control destructive birds to avoid dependence, come from book sales.

• Provide motivational, exciting, and inspiring youths as NextGen innovators.

• To integrate Youths with respective institutions, private sectors, and donors related o innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurs as a way forward.

Participants (Implementers)

The Book Launching Event will bring together 250 people including, students,
government leaders, and policymakers from key ministries and agencies in the areas of research, innovation, and Technology transfer (COSTECH), as well as representatives and stakeholders from the private sector such as Sokoine University graduate entrepreneurs corporative (SUGECO), Nongovernment organizations like Twende, donor agencies (one from HDIF) and. Experts in the areas of entrepreneurship, gender, business development, and financial inclusion will be on stage.
